A day at the Isola del Giglio.

Those who follow us on our instagram page have certainly seen yesterday’s stories.

One of the advantages of Monte Argentario is that it can be in less than an hour by ferry, in one of the most beautiful destinations in Italy (to be modest): Isola del Giglio.

Yesterday was one of the hottest days of this 2018 and it was obvious to indulge in relaxation and dives into the water.

For those unfamiliar with the Isola del Giglio, the first thing to know is that it is divided into 3 areas: Porto, Castello and Campese. And it is precisely the latter that you see the photos of this article. Maybe yesterday the winds were not really favorable (Campese is recommended when the winds blow from the south), but fortunately, the beach of Campese is comfortable, wide and equipped even also if there are waves.

Get off the ferry a bus takes you directly to 10 meters from the bathing establishments. During the journey, despite some curves, you can admire incredible views towards Monte Argentario, the coast, or the Island of Giannutri. Until you see the Campese beach, enclosed between a cliff and the typical tower of the 1700s.

For those who stop in Monte Argentario, the advice is to dedicate a day or two to discover this island.
